After all the outpouring of support and goodwill from the local gay (and straight) community, I find it an incredible slap in the face for the Boom to have tripled their cover charge ($15)for the final weekend.
Yes, they are a for-profit business, but THIS is the way they thank their patrons for years of support? What a tacky way to go out.
